Chances are you have and you probably spent a lot of time thinking about this person and looking for signs that he or she was as interested in you as you are interested in them. The situations vary, maybe it is someone who you are friends with an have known for a long time, or someone you just met and feel attracted to and you would like to know if the attraction is mutual. Signs Someone Likes You (Positive Body Language)
- Looking into your eyes - a sign your date may be interested.
- Sitting Forward - facing you and leaning in toward you.
- Touching - a subtle touch can send sends an “I like you message”.
- Hand Location - palms up and placed near you. brief hand contact.
- Nodding - either your date is listening attentivly or appeasing you.
- Mimicing - either your date is listening attentivly or appeasing you.
- Excitement - look for this one in the smile and the eyes.
- Synchronization - breathing patterns, movements (similar to Mimicing).
- Eyes, lips, eyes, lips - your date obviously is interested in something.
- Hair tossing, primping, shuffleing - your date wants to be noticed.
- Moistening lips - another sign that your date may be interested in something
Signs Someone is Not Interested in You (Negative Body Language)
- Slouching - either extremly bored, tired or comfortable.
- Arms Folded - generally sends a no signal, protective
- Legs crossed pointing away - disinterested
- Objects placed between the two you - barriers- this is a no
- Blatant yawning - either your date is extremely tired or not interested
- Nodding - general politeness, not really interested.
- Lack of visual contact - either your date is extremly shy or they don’t want the attention.
- Distance - a larger than normal personal space is a bad sign.
