LDSdates.com's Interests Feature for LDS Singles

LDSdates.com recently published an update which includes a variety of enhancements, most notable a special new feature - User Interests.

This new User Interests feature includes an extensive list of common interests that will appeal to a variety of people, there are over 200 individual items in this list.  The interest lists is divided into eleven different groups: Animals, Arts and Crafts, Dance, Games, General, Literature, Health and Fitness, Music, Outdoors, Sports and Stage and Screen. The general category holds all of the interests that did not fall into the other categories, yet were not numerous enough to have a category of their own.

Users access a specific Interests page where they indicate their interests and save them.  After saving their interests, users are brought back to the same page and a message informs them their selections have been saved.  When users visit their profile page they will find that their interests selections are displayed on their profile.  This feature allows LDS singles to identify other LDS Singles with common interests.  The Profile pages list the selected interest on a separate tab from the main profile description, but it loads quickly and is easy to identify.

Other features that were recently published were a favorite profiles feature where members can save other singles profiles as favorites, rank them and make notes about the profiles. There were also a variety of layout and funtionality updates applied recently.
